Community Rules

1.0 Cheating

1.1 Hacking/Cheating in any way will result in a permanent non-appealable ban. This includes, but is not limited to cheating, hacking or using any form of scripting to gain a competitive advantage.

 

1.2 Exploiting in any way, including bugs, glitches and in any other forms is prohibited.

2.0 Harrassment , Discrimination and Other Content

2.1 Harassment, Bullying, Racism, Sexism in any form of the terms, is prohibited.

2.2 Any explicitly sexual, nudity, gore or violent content is also prohibited.

2.3 - Harassment in this community is not tolerated at all, inclusive of stereotyping members by their ethnicity or accents.

3.0 Breaching Privacy

3.1 Doxxing of any kind is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to spreading any form of personal or private information without consent.

4.0 Alternative Account/Ban Evading
 

4.1 Using any form of additional accounts on any platform of the Aussie Battler Gaming community without approval of Management is prohibited.

4.2 Using alternate accounts to evade a ban from any Aussie Battler Gaming community platform is prohibited.

 

5.0 Impersonating Staff

5.1 The impersonation of any and all staff including but not limited to claiming you are staff, changing your name to a staff member’s name and putting staff tags of any kind on your name.

6.0 Unapproved Advertising

 

6.1 Advertising any service or social media platform that is not owned by Aussie Battler Gaming is prohibited without prior approval of the management team.

 

 

7.0 Rules Breaches and Sanctions

 

7.1 Breaching any rule of an Aussie Battler service or platform or of the community rules listed above will result in a punishment deemed appropriate by the administrative or management teams.

7.2 The length and weight of the punishment can be modified at any time at the discretion of the management team.

7.3 Any member within the community can be removed for any reason at the discretion of the management team.

Squad Server Rules

1.0 General Rules

 

1.1 Common sense applies when playing the game & reading the rules. ABG's Community Rules and the Squad Code of Conduct are enforced on all ABG Squad Servers.

 

1.2 Offensive names for either players or Squads are not permitted if they would be deemed offensive to the average person.

 

1.3 No Teamkilling, all players are to apologise for any teamkills in all chat.

  • 1.3.1 Revenge teamkilling the person/Squad mate that teamkilled you is not allowed under any circumstance.

 

1.4 Players must actively participate in gameplay by joining a Squad and actively playing the objectives - unassigned players will be kicked.

  • 1.4.1 Squad Leader kits are mandatory for all Squad Leaders.

  • 1.4.2 Unarmed role is not permitted under any circumstance.

 

1.5 Squad leaders are expected to lead their Squads and use a microphone at all times, creating a Squad without the intention of running it is not allowed and you will be kicked.

 

1.6 Ghosting is prohibited. Providing information of the other teams Squads, vehicles or HABs which would affect game-play.

2.0 In-Game Rules

2.1 Do not waste vehicles by abandoning them or not using them for their specific role. For example leaving a MBT outside of the area of play without a crew.

2.2 Excessive team stacking will result in team changes, for example 2-3 Squads full of clan members.

2.3 Do not engage with emplacements or vehicles just outside of main unless necessary to deal with being camped at main.

2.4 Misusing, wasting or deliberately damaging team assets is prohibited, the following will be considered a rule breach.

  • 2.4.1 Using team assets for personal use.

  • 2.4.2 Abandoning vehicles after you're done with them, return them to a friendly FOB, Squad or return it back to main.

  • 2.4.3 Utilising a helicopter to ram another helicopter is a misuse of team assets including ramming the ground, ramming another helicopter or rotor tapping.

2.5 All Squad Leaders reserve the right to kick any member of their Squad without reason, do not retaliate, if you have an issue see an admin or join another Squad.

 

2.6 2.6 All vehicles that require a crewman kit require at least two crewman.

  • 2.6.1 A Squad will have claim over a vehicle based on whoever created their Squad first and has a valid name claim over the respective vehicle.

  • 2.6.2 Vehicles that require a crewman kit or a pilot kit are limited to 1 per Squad.

  • 2.6.3 All armed vehicles are claimable.

  • 2.6.4 Priority/claim over a vehicle will only be in effect if the vehicle is spawning or spawned at main. Claims will not be enforced unless you are able to get to it within a reasonable amount of time. Enforcement is at staff discretion.

  • 2.6.5 If a Squad takes command they forfeit any right to vehicle claims.

  • 2.6.6 Squads are only able to claim one type of vehicle with reference to their Squad name. e.g. no "MBT/BMP" Squad names.

2.7 Vehicles that require a crewman kit shouldn't be used by Squad Leaders leading a Squad of Infantry, unless providing efficient capability to the team and direction to their Squad. Enforcement at staff discretion.

2.8 Main camping is not allowed, main camping is where you are not near an active cap, and are closer to the enemy main than the active cap, and are engaging enemy forces currently leaving or that have just left their main base.

  • 2.8.1 Engineers are allowed to mine outside enemy mains provided once they have placed the mines they do not loiter and return to the current objective.

2.9 Radios should not be covered in an excessive amount of placeable objects.

3.0 Seeding Rules - Below 50 Players (25v25)

3.1 The center objective is the only objective to be fought over during the seeding phase.

 

3.2 No Hell Cannon during seeding.

 

3.3 Locked squads are prohibited during the seeding phase.

 

3.4 The seeding phase is concluded at 50 players (25v25).

 

4.0 Jensens Range Rules

4.1 No excessive spawn camping, enforced at staff discretion.

 

4.2 Excessive radio placement in an attempt to block spawns or lag the server will result in removal.

 

4.3 Do not blow up helicopters on the pads as they are taking off or stationary.

 

4.4 Do not interrupt people who are using the range to learn a new skill.

4.5 No commander artillery strikes spamming.

4.6 No blowing up other vehicles on their spawn points.

4.7 No excessive teamkilling.

Discord Rules

1.0 Keep it Friendly

 

1.1 Please use common courtesy & respect when talking to other members.

1.2 Personal attacks, threats or abuse are not tolerated.

1.3 Do not post NSFW, disturbing or insensitive content in public channels.

2.0 No Spam

2.1 This includes short messages, similar messages, rapid messages, bulk private messages and microphone abuse.

3.0 Respect Others

3.1 Bullying, discrimination, racism, trash talking, excessive trolling or harassment will result in a mute or potential removal depending on the severity.

4.0 Stay on Topic

4.1 Please make sure you are posting in the right text channels. In-proper use of channels can result it a server mute if previously warned.

5.0 Exploits & Cheats

5.1 Any promotion of exploits & cheats will result in a permanent ban.

6.0 Political Views

 

6.1 No political views are to be discussed without approval from the Management Team first.

Hell Let Loose Rules

1.0 General Rules

 

1.1 Common sense applies when playing the game & reading the rules.

1.2 Racism, sexism, hate-speech or any kind of interaction that is discriminatory is not tolerated.

1.3 Advertising clans, communities, websites or other individual/group is forbidden without approval of a Manager.

1.4 Impersonation of any ABG members or it's staff is strictly forbidden.

1.5 It is strongly recommended that Artillery is operated by an Infantry Squad Leader, or the Commander. Continued use of artillery by Armour or recon units can be considered a waste of resources.

1.6 Ghosting is prohibited. Providing information of the other teams Squads, vehicles or HABs which would affect game-play.

1.7 No team killing, ghosting, glitching, griefing, spamming, exploiting and/or cheating.

1.8 Do not waste or misuse team assets, this includes but is not limited to:
1.8.1 Misuse of vehicles against the direction of the Commander of Squad Leader (e.g. 1-way vehicle transports, misuse of trucks etc)
1.8.2 Firing artillery against direction from the Commander or Squad Leader.

1.9 In order to promote fair play, HQ Areas are protected zones and as such have special rules. It is not permitted to enter these zones unless either of the below conditions are met:
1.9.1 They can be entered to eliminate artillery only and must be exited once this is complete.

2.0 The HQ area is free to enter and attack the final objective (warfare) or defend the first objective (offensive), however players should not camp the HQ spawns.
 

2.1 You must join/create a unit or you will be considered AFK and may be kicked.

2.2 Do not create a unit unless you intend on leading it (i.e. don't create a unit and leave).

2.3 All leadership positions (Commander, Squad Leader) must communicate effectively via VoIP or text. VoIP is strongly recommended for a better play experience.

2.4 Squad leaders may kick you for any reason they wish. Do not retaliate if they do so, either come see an admin (if you have an issue with it) or join another squad.

2.5 Ensure you and your squad are playing the objective(s) attacking/defending/supporting) as often as possible.

2.6 Solo armour squads are not permitted.

2.7 Solo tank play (unlocked) is permitted if working and communicating with the team.

2.8 Locked solo Recon squads are not permitted.

3.0 Seeding Rules - Below 40 players (20v20)

3.1 Fight over the centre objective only while in seeding.

3.2 No locked units during seeding.

3.3 Commander abilities are not to be used during seeding.

3.4 The use of vehicles is strictly for transport to the centre objective only.

3.5 Seeding is in effect when the server is below 40 players `(20  v 20)`, seeding will be called off at staff discretion.
